Mission of Faith Covenant Church
Because we are a rebirthing church, our mission and vision is always being discerned and molded by God. And that may be how it is supposed to be forever! But we have thus far determined that we dream of being a Christ-following community sustained by faith, known for love and speaking in hope, as we live out the dimensions of Mark 12:30-31: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength... and love your neighbor as yourself.”
Because of the values we share, we strive to walk in this way through four dimensions:
SHARE–Genuine Relationship
GIVE–Holistic Devotion
GROW–Intentional Formation
And SERVE–Incarnational Mission
Each of these dimensions of our community urges us, with much prayer, to follow deeply in the way of Jesus Christ and commit to “doing life” together in deep friendship, through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that as God shapes us, we can become a movement in Colorado Springs where God works through us to bring his hope to others, just as he brings hope to us every day.
