Who We Are

Faith Covenant is a group of Christian believers who come together to worship God, experience community, and serve people with Christ’s love.

We want to restore the brokenness in our lives and in the world.

So what does that look like on a daily basis? We worship God with songs, prayers, and teaching. We gather in homes to study God’s Word and pray for each other. We are passionate about meeting the needs of our community through a variety of ways. We restore brokenness in homes and hearts by offering free counseling. We change our world by raising money and awareness to fight poverty and oppression.

We believe these are things Jesus would do. We are following him when we learn more about God and give of ourselves to others.

So What’s a Christian Anyway?

Simply put, a Christian is a person who follows Christ. The Scriptures tell us that Jesus said a lot while he was on earth, so how do we follow everything He said? Here are just a few ways people have summarized Jesus’ life and teachings:

Love God and love your neighbor.

Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with God.

Jesus died to cancel your sins and restore your relationship with God.

Jesus died and came to life again to conquer death and evil.

You have been saved by grace through faith –it is a gift of God, not something you accomplish.

At Faith Covenant we believe that being a Christian is not:

a list of rules to obey

a political affiliation

something you inherit from your parents

doing lots of good things so you can go to heaven
