Becoming Christian

As Faith is in this time of rebirth, thoughts on birthing Christians are not far from our minds. But we know that, ultimately, it is the work of God. We at Faith see ourselves as willing partners with God who calls people into his deep love, inviting them to love him back. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, loves you beyond your wildest imaginations and longs to have you notice that he walks with you. So in the Bible we read that God sent Jesus to be human and show us just how far God’s love goes. That love went as far as Jesus dying on a cross so that we might be able to embrace God and love him back, in his reconciliation and forgiveness. As the Holy Spirit calls you into this love of God, we will come alongside you as you continue on your journey and discern God’s calling you to a life that follows Jesus. 

Each person’s story is different. Each person’s journey is unique. We will celebrate the good work that God has begun in you and honor your unique movement in faith. We will provide you companions for the journey and give you time and space needed to wrestle with what God is doing in your life. You are free to ask questions at Faith. You are free to experience and explore the Christian practices of faith. You are free to discern and prepare for baptism (or the affirmation of your baptism). You are free to belong, to be among us and with us, before believing.
