Spiritual Formation

Our Spiritual Formation hour begins at 9:15 every Sunday morning during the months of September through May. This is a great time to get deeper into the Bible and have an opportunity to discuss biblical issues.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY meets the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, 6:30 pm at church.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month, 6:30 pm at Pikes Perk on North Academy.

SENIOR BIBLE STUDY meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings, 10 am at the home of Sue Bigari, 5185 Splitrail Drive.

Faith Covenant Church has a growing and vital ministry to children. On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery available at all times for infants and children up to the age of 4. During the school year at 9:15 a.m., we have separate Sunday School classes for kindergarten and 1st thru 5th grades.

The elementary school children are very active in their learning about the Lord. They are not only learning what it means to have a personal relationship with Him, but are exploring and gaining an understanding about the teachings of Jesus and what that means to their daily life. They are learning how to use the Bible, find scripture verses, relate those verses to their own world, and how to look beyond themselves. They are engaged during the year with at least 2 or 3 mission projects that they, and the congregation, whole-heartedly support. Throughout the year, they also engage with one another on Sunday afternoons with pizza parties. These become opportunities for the children to continue working on a project for class; to prepare for an upcoming Mission project or church drama production; or just for the enjoyment of being together. During the summer, there is an activity planned once a month so the children of Faith can continue to enjoy, learn and interact with one another.

During the school year at 9:15 a.m., we have a class for middle and high-schoolers combined. All of our youth attend the adult worship service with their families.
